LetsCrushCancer held its first Cycle For Survival event in New York City in 2007. The fundraiser was created with the purpose of funding groundbreaking research into potential cures for rare cancers. Since 2007 the Cycle For Survival has become a national event with yearly cyclethons held in over 20 cities. In 2017 the cyclethon raised over $34 million dollars in cancer research month and LetsCrushCancer hopes to beat that amount in 2018.
